Tutankhamun



The importance of Tutankhamun that, it is the only royal treasure, which was found complete and it also provided us with very important information about what was characteristic of daily life ,in the period of the eighteenth dynasty and the life of King.
the tomb of King Tutankhamun was discovered in 1922 ,by Howard Carter and George Herbert,when they started the excavation in valley of kings in Tiba .
 Tutankhamun was the son of Akhenaten ,and he was born in 1341 BC, he ascended to the throne in 1333 BC, at the age of nine,and When he became king, he married his half sister Ankhesenamun.
in addition to gold, which are invaluable and has been found in Tut's tomb, the tomb was equipped for the other life (depending on the beliefs of the Pharaohs) with 130 crutches and a stick, some showing signs of wear and wardrobe drugs.
Since that moment 88 years ago King Tutankhamen's has entered circle of light,and became the focus of all lovers of Egyptian monuments all over the world,
also the mysterious death of the golden Pharaoh made him a legend and has inflamed the imagination of archaeologists everywhere to uncover the secret that lies behind it.
Tutankhamun was the result of a incestuous relationship and, because of that, may have suffered from several genetic defects that contributed to his early death and that is a theory from others , another theory said that his death because of malaria .
Tutankhamun's mummy still rests in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings and if you go there you will see it.
 Relics from Tutankhamun's tomb are among the most traveled artifacts in the world,They have been to many countries, but probably the best-known exhibition tour was the Treasures of Tutankhamun tour, which ran from 1972 to 1979 in London at the British Museum
